MOBIHEL 2K MATTING AGENT

USE
MOBIHEL 2K MATTING AGENT is used to achieve the matting effect
of MOBIHEL 2K coatings. Maximum addition is 100 % of the total quantity. By the addition of MOBIHEL 2K MATTING AGENT the hiding power of colours decreases, therefore we do not recommend using with colour shades with a reduced hiding power! Dark colour shades require a higher quantity of MOBIHEL 2K MATTING AGENT for the same level of matt effect than lighter colours.

MOBIHEL 2K STRUCTURAL ADDITIVE COARSE & FINE

USE
MOBIHEL 2K STRUCTURE ADDITIVE FINE OR COARSE will be used in case of painting plastic parts, when we wish to achieve a typical appearance of plastics (structure and matt effect). These additives may be used only in 2K colour shades. You can mix additive in any colour shade, but you should know that additive decreases a hiding power, which is especially important with colour shades having a worse hiding power.
USE PREPARATION

MOBIHEL 2K STRUCTURE ADDITIVE FINE OR COARSE will be added in quantity 100 % to component A. Mixing is as follows:
1 part component A: 1 part additive and afterwards 2:1 mixing with a HARDENER. Thinning to working viscosity is not necessary. If you wish to additionally increase elasticity of coating, you may add 20 – 30 % MOBIHEL 2K ELASTIC ADDITIVE, which makes hiding power worse, therefore we do not recommend its use in colour shades with worse hiding power. In order to avoid too high coating’s thicknesses, that is not desired due to plastic’s elasticity, we recommend preceding one coat of MOBIHEL Base in similar colour as will be final 2K coat (e.g. under black 2K colour one coat Base MIX-361).

USE
It is used to increase the elasticity of the material. 20 – 30 % will be added to component A, which may be Filler or Clearcoat. To complete quantity 2K HARDENER will be added in ratio, which is prescribed for individual product. At use of MOBIHEL 2K ELASTIC ADDITIVE VOC the drying of coating will be slightly prolonged.
USE PREPARATION

If plastic parts were damaged, first clean, apply MOBIHEL PRIMER FOR PLASTIC LOW VOC, then MOBIHEL PE PUTTY FOR PLASTIC and then MOBIHEL 2K HS 4:1 COMPACTPRIMER LOW VOC, in which you add 20 – 30 % MOBIHEL 2K ELASTIC ADDITIVE VOC. As the final two-layer coating you use MOBIHEL BASE and MOBIHEL 2K CLEARCOAT, in which you add 20 – 30 % MOBIHEL 2K ELASTIC ADDITIVE VOC.
